IRC, also known as Internet Relay Chat, is a way to communicate with other people anywhere in the world. Private chat is possible, but using channels is the main way people use IRC. Channels, or chat rooms, are different areas people with similar interests can communicate. The War of Legends Wiki has it's own channel where users may talk about the game, editing, and almost anything else. This channel is called #wikia-waroflegends, and everyone is welcome!

Registering an account[]
Registering an account and nickname can be very beneficial. When registered, that nickname cannot be impersonated, and the password is needed. Also, administrator powers, in the channel, require that the nickname used is registered. To register a nickname, while logged in with the nickname wanted, follow the following steps:
- Type
/ns register <password> <e-mail>and place your desired password and email in their respective spots. - Check the email account which was given for a confirmation email.
- Follow the directions on the email.
Every time you log in, type /ns identify <password> and enter the password used to register the account.

/nick nickname- This changes the current nickname used./me message- Sends out a notice to the channel from your name./whois user- Gives info about the user given./leave- Leaves the channel in which it was entered in.
